Standing Water Brings Commercial Water Damage to Morris Plains Warehouse
SERVPRO technicians found over an inch of standing water damage in this narrow area in a local Morris Plains business. They used their extraction equipment to rapidly remove the water and move on to drying the loss area. Due to sheetrock wicking the water, the bottom several inches on one wall needed removal before drying to open up the wall cavity. Fortunately, the concrete slab floor needed drying only. To rapidly dry this type of loss, the techs use a large number of air movers and dehumidification equipment. After drying the interior and lowering the ambient humidity levels, the techs cleaned and disinfected the premises to get it ready for regular daily use again.
