Less Tropical Storm Activity in July is Common, More Storms Could be on the Way

2022 has been one the hottest summers ever recorded, but there has not been any hurricane activity at the Atlantic Ocean. Although this hurricane season was predicted to be active by scientists, there has been very little activity in the Atlantic Ocean over the last few weeks. This is normal for July. However, it does not necessarily mean we are finished.

When a hurricane warning or tropical storm is in effect it is important to listen to the local meteorologist. SERVPRO is ready to assist you during and after major storms. In the northeast, we have been able to manage properties through every major storm that has hit our region over the last 20 years. As such, we provide window/glass door board up services, sandbag and flood preparation services as well as water removal and pumping-out services.
